BEGIN is the central information point for adults who want to know more about brushing up their skills. We provide free, impartial, confidential advice and information for adults seeking help with English, Maths, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and getting a National Test.

The National Test is free and is a multiple choice test that takes about an hour, and can be done at a Learning Centre near you. It is the same level as a GCSE and is recognised by employers, so could help you with that promotion or new job.
